 Our Story…

While I was initially little shocked by his presence, Mickey told my classmates that I “talk too often”. (Don’t be worried! haha!)

 We became close friends over the following decades. In the 9th grade, he asked for me to become his girlfriend. It was only two years later. The rest is history.

 Our senior year in college was also the time we got engaged. We got married two years later , after our graduation from college. The wedding was held in the summer of 2004 near our hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 The summer after we moved to North Carolina. We bought our first home and began our first jobs following college. We knew that we would like to start our own family soon.

 As a second-grade teacher I realized that I was about to become a mother! The year 2006 was the year our eldest son was born, and I was a stay-at-home mother. Following that, we experienced one loss, and then another child every 2 years.

 2006: Jack, our oldest son, was born in. I left my position as a 2nd-grade teacher in order to become a mom.

 2010: Our 3rd sweet boy (Ethan) was born.

 2012: Our little girl, Allie Elizabeth, was born.
